I’ve been asked about Ted’s Woodworking product so many times that I decided it was time to check it out and see if it was worth all the hype. I’ll do my best to outline the things I found valuable about the product and also any criticisms I may have. I went into this without any prior knowledge or experience with his training or plans. I had no bias one way or the other.
In the end, I was happy that I decided to test this product out. It was packed with content which alone was worth more then the cost of the material. It was not perfect however and I will cover the things that I would have changed or done differently if I had created the material. I attempted to be very methodical while reading and following the material, as to give an even and unbiased review. I owe my readers this much, as I want them to make a good decision on whether or not to purchase this product. I think you’ll find my review complete.
The Things I Liked About Ted’s Woodworking

One important thing to note is that a majority of websites offering woodworking plans are poor quality, and tend to be over priced.That’s one thing I really liked about Ted’s package, it had a huge range of different plans for a reasonable price.
The Things I Didn’t Like About Ted’s Woodworking
The way that the project plans are presented could use some work. They are not all done the same way, so it’s not as seamless as I think it could be. The plans also lack any ranking system to let you know if its beginner, novice or expert level. While this is only a minor detail, it would be much easier for a novice to digest if it was marked properly.
The video section is helpful but could be added upon. I found the videos helpful and a refreshing change compared to some of the other similar products on the market that I’ve bought. I look forward to additional videos on some advanced techniques and how-to’s.
I know I didn’t list many negative things, but to be honest, there were not that many things to point out. The experience will be different for everyone, but from my perspective, it’s a very well rounded product that has a lot to offer to woodworkers of any experience level.

What Do Ted’s Woodworking Plans Look Like?
The plans provided in the members area are pretty detailed. They generally include blueprints, step-by-step instructions, material lists and multiple pictures of the completed project. They are sorted by project type, for example: barn, bed, bench, bird house, boat, book care, camping. cabin, children s toys, dressers, desks, fences, frames, furniture plans and more.

So to sum things up, I was pretty impressed with this product. There is a ton of plans available, all with detailed plans, blueprints and material lists. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bonuses included with the package were actually pretty useful, unlike a lot of products out there that give you rehashed junk PDFs. I give this the Jim Patterson seal of approval. If you’d like to give this product a shot, I want to disclose that I do receive a small commission if you buy the product. Sean provides an honest review of the product from his own personal experience. He is taking a carpentry and woodworking course. Once completed, he didn’t really have any thing to get started with in the way of plans. So he went online and purchased a few ebooks but they were just okay. He started noticing that everyone was talking about Ted’s Woodworking. He wanted to know if it was a scam, or if it was real.
He ended up spending the money to buy the product. His says he doesn’t know if its the best woodworking plans, but it certainly did meet his needs. He was looking for Gazebo plans, which Ted’s product included a variety of. He and his brother built it and were very satisfied with the outcome.
He says what other ebooks don’t include are all the how-to videos that teds woodworking does. All of the extra bonus software and resources are really above and beyond. As far as Sean is concerned, it’s not a scam, it provides exactly what they promise. The 16,000 woodworking plans are more then anyone will ever need.
He enjoyed a lot of the bonus materials, such as the How to Start a Woodworking Business book. He’s satisfied with his purchase and recommends others to try it as well.
Mark and his wife were refurbishing their house. Towards the end of the renovation, they decided they wanted to build some furniture together for their house. They looked around online for some plans and found Teds Woodworking plans. They read that there was a 60 day money back guarantee which eased their minds so they decided to buy it.
After looking through the plans they discovered lots of different plans that were perfect for them. They say there were some complicated plans but there were plenty that were easy to do. They started building furniture and were surprised by the great results they had.
They love to have people over and tell them that they built all of the furniture in their house, by hand. Peoples jaws drop because of the high quality of the pieces. Mark and his wife love that feeling. They are going to continue building more pieces and are addicted to building items from the plans. They highly recommend Ted’s Plans and recommend it to all their friends.
I’m amazed at how many positive reviews there are and how few Teds Woodworking complaints there are out there. I wanted to include as many reviews as I could find to help my users make the best decision possible, based on all the facts available.
The man in this review was looking for some woodworking plans to make something for his brothers birthday. He was surprised at the quality of the material and the variety of bonuses that came free with the product.
He managed to make some beautiful pieces, even though hes not very experienced with wood working. One thing hes very excited about is the CAD software that allows him to design his own furniture.
